When I arrived at Piret’s studio in the New York neighborhood of Tribeca, I was incredibly anxious, but her bubbly personality calmed my nerves.
Piret calls herself the “eyebrow doctor,” but she’s an artist first and foremost. With clients ranging from those affected by cancer and alopecia to women who just want to enhance the basic shape of their arches, she knows how to work with the landscape of the brow. Her philosophy? They’re still your brows, just better. I mean, have you seen her Instagram? She actually gets the majority of her clients through the social platform.
As you can see in the photo pictured, my eyebrows are sparse, thin, and too short. According to Piret, though, microblading benefits any type of brow woe, and it works on all skin tones.
