The American Music Awards went down in LA on Tuesday evening, and it was all about the fans. Host Tracee Ellis Ross was a perfect emcee, stunning the crowd in a bevy of gorgeous outfits by black designers throughout the night (oh, her opening dance number was not to be missed). Along with Tracee's moves, we also got to witness performances from Cardi B, Mariah Carey, and Taylor Swift, who opened the show with an electrifying rendition of "I Did Something Bad." And thankfully, the AMAs made sure to pay tribute to the late Aretha Franklin with a beautiful gospel performance from a handful of legendary artists, including Gladys Knight and CeCe Winans.
Overall, the show was a fun-filled event for music fans, who voted for the winner of each category. The crowd went wild for acceptance speeches like Khalid, Camila Cabello, and Taylor Swift, whose 22 trophies now make her the most decorated AMA winner in history. Keep reading to see all the moments you may have missed from this year's AMAs, in pictures.
