Solange has been riding the high of her critically acclaimed new album, A Seat at the Table, since the end of September, and her family was on hand to support her during her amazing performances of "Don't Touch My Hair" and "Cranes in the Sky" on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 5. Mom Tina Knowles-Lawson and sister Beyoncé congratulated Solange by literally picking her up in their arms, while Solange jokingly yelled, "I'm 30 years old!" "She's still our baby❤️," Tina captioned a video of the cute interaction on Instagram. "We have Been picking her up like this since she was 10 yrs old. On the legendary SNL stage❤️."
Later on, Jay Z joined the family at SNL's afterparty, where cast member and actress Leslie Jones snapped a photo with the couple and praised Solange's performance. "Ok now y'all know I'm the sh*t right!! Illuminati!! Lol @solangeknowles killed it tonight!!" she tweeted. This was Solange's first time performing on the sketch show, and given that Beyoncé has appeared as a musical guest four times (twice with Destiny's Child and twice solo), we can only imagine the amount of advice she had to offer her little sister. Then again, it's not like she needed any.
