Bohemian Rhapsody Trailer | May 2018

The First Trailer For Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody Is Here!

The first trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody (Freddie Mercury's Queen biopic) is out, and Egyptian/American Rami Malek has got us excited for its release already.

Malek was born and raised in the US to an Egyptian Coptic family. His late father was once a tour guide in Cairo and mother is an accountant. He told Jimmy Fallon last August that he was "terrified" of playing Mercury, who was, and is still considered, a hugely talented musician.

Pictures of the actor posing as Mercury have been circulating on social media and the resemblance is uncanny. And while some had doubts to his ability to play the British, flamboyant singer-songwriter who was friends with Princess Diana, this trailer proves them wrong.

Freddie demanded that his burial place be kept a secret, so no one knows where he is buried except his longtime girlfriend, Mary Austin, who two years after his death, took the urn with his remains and deposited them where he wished.

There is so much to Mercury other than his musical talent and we understand why Malek would be scared to go there. But the trailer has gotten a thumbs up from most on Twitter ahead of its US release in November.
