Cara Delevingne Carnival Row Amazon Prime Series
Cara Delevingne Wants To Take Us On A Brand New Magical Journey, and We're SO Ready, Girl
There's a new show on our radar and it's called... Carnival Row. The Amazon Prime series is set in a Victorian fantasy world, filled with mythological creatures whose homelands are under siege by humans. The series documents the growing animosity between humans and the indesirables. It does so by following a complex love story of sorts between a detective (Orlando Bloom) and a faerie (Cara Delevingne), who are simultaneously trying to combat a new threat to both humans and mythic alike - interesting stuff!
You might be wondering what these mythical creatures are... we'll let our favorite model turned actress, Cara Delevingne explain:

Now that you have the rundown on the creatures, lets talk about the cast: Bloom and Delevingne lead the series as human detective Rycroft Philostrate and refugee faerie Vignette Stonemoss. While David Gyasi of Interstellar fame stars as Agreus, a wealthy faun. Karla Crome who you might recognize from Misfits plays Tourmaline, a faerie poet driven from her homeland, while Mad Men and Chernobyl star Jared Harris plays Absalom Breakspear - the imperious and secretive Chancellor of the Burgue.
Carnival Row isn't the first fantasy series that Cara has been a part of. The 26-year-old has starred in Suicide Squad as the main antagonist, The Enchantress, she also portrayed Laureline, a peasant girl turned Spatio-Temporal agent in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. She's also played a mermaid in the 2015 rendition of Pan.
The show is set to grace our small screens on Aug 30 so, be sure to subscribe to Amazon Prime to watch it.
