At every Olympic game, one star emerges to become the face of their sport, and a hero, not only in their home nation but globally, too.
This year, in Pyeongchang, that star is 17-year-old American snowboarding sensation Chloe Kim.
Born and raised in California, Chloe is the daughter of South Korean immigrants, and so the games have particular importance for her and her family. Her grandmother, who still lives in Seoul, even saw Chloe compete for the first time this week, when she won the gold medal.
Since her big win, Chloe's been causing a media storm, and proving that she's here to stay.
We're sure to be seeing a lot more of Chloe...catch up on what you've missed right here!
