Whether or not you're a fan of musical theater, you're familiar with Lea Salonga. Even if you don't know her by name, you've certainly heard her sing: she's the voice behind Jasmine and Mulan, two of the most iconic Disney characters of all-time.
In addition to playing (or at least voicing) princesses, Lea also originated the role of Kim in Miss Saigon, first in London's West End and then on Broadway, and went on to become the first Asian actress to play both Fantine and Eponine in Les Miserables.
Now, (and luckily for us!) she can add one more thing to her storied career, as she's set to perform at the Dubai Opera this coming fall. On September 22nd and 23rd, the star will take to the stage in the recently opened opera house, performing hits from Disney classics and Broadway favorites, and tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9am.
She's currently performing in the US, with a number of shows coming up in New York over the next few weeks, but once the North American leg of her tour is over, she's headed to Dubai to delight musical theater fans across the city. If her US shows are any indicator, tickets are likely to sell-out quickly, so head to Dubai Opera's website tomorrow morning to make sure you don't miss out!
