He may have only come in at third place this weekend at the Bahrain Grand Prix, but Lewis Hamilton has been loving life in the region.
The three-time Formula One champion - and Nicole Scherzinger's former fiancé - shared snaps of himself via Instagram in national dress.
Lewis fell behind in his big race on Sunday after a race car collision while representing Great Britain in his Mercedes vehicle. Germany's Nico Roseberg ended up taking the top spot.
He posted after the loss: "Not every day is going to go the way we envisioned or planned. What's important is how you handle what life throws at you. That's what defines you.
"Today I did the best with what I was given, and considering the circumstances, am happy to have fought my way on to that podium! Thank you to my team@mercedesamgf1 for doing an amazing job, and to #TeamLH out here in Bahrain for showing so much love!!! God bless!!"
The 31-year-old certain is a fan of the Middle East; he wore a special helmet to the Abu dhabi Grand Prix last year in recognition of the UAE's National Day.
