Friends, family, acquaintances, we officially have a new royal baby to "awwww" over. Meghan Markle has welcomed her first child with Prince Harry! The couple's baby boy was born at 05:26 a.m on Monday morning Eastern time, with Prince Harry by her side.

The happy news was announced via Instagram. "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019," the caption read. "Their Royal Highnesses' son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days."

We are beyond happy for the royal pair. And, we CAN'T wait to find out what they decide to name him.
