Meryl Streep Standing Ovation at the Oscars 2017

Jimmy Kimmel took a moment during his Oscars opening monologue to recognize Meryl Streep for her "overrated" acting career, and naturally the crowd responded with a standing ovation. Referring to Donald Trump's tweets about Meryl's Golden Globes Speech in January 2017, Kimmel joked, "One actress has stood the test of time for her many uninspiring and overrated performances." To prove just how talented and inspirational the actress really is, the late night host asked the crowd to take a minute to applaud Meryl, and the crowd's reaction speaks for itself — she received a standing ovation. Arguably the largest standing ovation in the history of standing ovations, right Trump?
