Miley Cyrus and Adam Sandler Honored Las Vegas Victims With This Beautiful Tribute
"This morning we woke up to news of another senseless shooting," late-night host Jimmy Fallon opened his show on the evening of October 2.
In his somber opening, Fallon urged people to remember that "in the face of tragedies and acts of terror, we need to remember that good still exists in this world."
He acknowledged that the purpose of his show still remained to entertain people, and called out guests Miley Cyrus and Adam Sandler to perform a moving tribute to the victims of the Vegas shooting.
Miley took the mic while Adam stood closely behind her playing the guitar as the two performed a moving rendition of Dido's 'No Freedom.'
Miley Tweeted about the performance, writing that the special episode was not only about "mourning this horrific event...but using this platform to encourage unity , peace & hopefulness!"
