SIA To Headline Dubai World Cup 2017 Closing Night Concert

Sia Just Got Announced As the Headline Act at the World's Richest Horserace

Last year Janet Jackson took to the stage in Dubai to perform a storming concert at Meydan Racecourse and in 2017 SIA will headline the Dubai World Cup. The "Cheap Thrills" singer is expected to belt out hits including "Chandelier" when she performs at 9.30pm on March 25 at the richest race on Earth, her first gig in the UAE.

Only those holding tickets to the actual races will have access to view the Grammy-nominated star – who has written tracks for the likes of David Guetta, Rihanna, Beyonce and Flo Rida.

"Sia is thrilled to be performing at the Dubai World Cup at Meydan, being a part of such a prestigious occasion and for her fans to see her show in the UAE for the first time," a spokesperson said about the news.

Dubai World Cup tickets cost AED450 for Apron Views until March 19 when they increase to AED600. Numerous hospitality ticket packages are also available at store.meydan.ae.
