Sunset Music Festival Abu Dhabi October 2016

This New UAE Music Festival Will Give You Some Serious 90s Nostalgia

"If love doesn't feel like 90s R&B, I don't want it."

Anybody who lives faithfully by those words should read on because this new event coming to the UAE will blow your socks off.

Sunset Music Festival is launching this fall with multiple huge artists headlining the one-day gig on October 21. Taking place in Abu Dhabi's Zayed Sports City fans of the genre will relive the good ol' days with some of the top talent from the much-loved decade. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and relax on the lawn. Judging by teasers, we're guessing British singer Gabrielle (Dreams) will be on the line-up!

"We are very excited to present the first edition of Sunset Music Festival and with it, provide a new way for people to enjoy music in the capital," Barry Bremner, the General Manager of Zayed Sports City said. "This multi-artist concert will bring something new and exciting, delivering a music festival experience with a popular format.

"We're lining up fantastic performers to play the music people loved in the 90s and surrounding it with an affordable, fun, relaxed and social atmosphere. This inaugural event is not to be missed."

Acts will be announced in September but so far we know visitors will get to enjoy almost seven hours of tunes at the event running from 3.30pm-11pm. Ticket prices are AED255 and AED355 from, UAE Exchange outlets or by calling +971 4 3148 222.
