Tom Cruise Filming Mission: Impossible Fallout in Abu Dhabi

Cat's Out the Bag: Tom Cruise IS Filming Mission: Impossible in Abu Dhabi

Rumors can finally be laid to rest – as we suspected, Tom Cruise was back in the UAE to film the highly anticipated 6th installment of the blockbuster "Mission: Impossible."

The Abu Dhabi Film Commission released a photo of the actor wearing a flight suit and posing in front of a marked UAE Armed Forces plane, with the director of the franchise, Christopher McQuarrie, and several local men and women in traditional dress. The image was captioned: "Mission made possible with Tom Cruise in Abu Dhabi, thanks to homegrown talent @2454abudhabi while filming #MissionImpossible Fallout!"

Less than a month ago, Cruise posted on his Twitter account discussing Abu Dhabi hospitality.

This is the second time the UAE has been featured in Mission: Impossible sequels, the first time being in Dubai when he famously scaled the Burj Khalifa in 2011.

We hope this continues to be a thing for Cruise. Maybe he'll even recommend the UAE as a film location to his other celebrity friends (is Tom Hardy his friend?).
