Watch Dubai's Sheikh Hamdan Save Fish While Deep Sea Diving

What Happened When Sheikh Hamdan Went Deep Sea Diving is Straight Out of an Animated Movie

We've swooned over snaps of Sheikh Hamdan showing how great he is with kids, and now it seems the Dubai Royal is a friend of animals too.

Fazza was filmed saving a small fish that he found stuck while out on a deep sea fishing excursion recently. While the Sheikh only shared one photo of himself and his new fishy pal, his official photographer released details of the full story via his own social media accounts.

Speaking in a YouTube clip, which is translated to English halfway through, Ali explained that at the end of the trip they found a fish attached to a hook. Sheikh Hamdan showed mercy and released him but what happened next surprised them. Ali is convinced the fish wanted to say thank you as it continued to swim around them once it was freed and considering there were three people diving, it's a little ahem… fishy that the sea creature took a particular shine to the Dubai Royal.

Let's name him Nemo!
