These Facts About Rami Malek Will Make You Love Him So Much More

Malek's parents are Coptic Egyptian immigrants, up until the age of four, Rami only spoke Arabic. In a previous interview, the Twilight star revealed that his now late father used to wake him and his siblings up so that they could speak to their family in his hometown of Samalut, Egypt.

Before making it on both the silver and big screen, Malek worked at a Mediterranean restaurant, making classic Middle Eastern dishes such as falafel and sharwarma. Yum.

His first movie role was playing Pharaoh Ahkmenrah in the critically acclaimed family film, Night at the Museum.

Rami has an identical twin brother called Sami, who is four minutes older. Growing up, the pair would attend classes for each other. During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Rami revealed that he once performed a Greek monologue to help his brother get extra credit and, ultimately, graduate high school.

Rami has been dating his former Bohemian Rhapsody co-star Lucy Boynton since April 2018. The notoriously private couple have since walked several red carpets together and even revealed a bit about their relationship.
