Before she married into the royal family, Kate Middleton needed a coat of arms, and the one that was designed featured the oak leaves and acorns that are abundant in her home country of Berkshire. Since then, the duchess has developed a personal collection of oak leaf and acorn jewelry. The first items were the Robinson Pelham earrings that were a wedding gift from her parents — her "something new" on her wedding day. They each feature a curled oak leaf set with diamonds, and are hung with a diamond-covered acorn.
