Zendaya is paying it forward in her hometown of Oakland, CA! On Sept. 19, the 23-year-old actress teamed up with school supply store Yoobi to announce the company's donation to 450 students at Global Family Elementary School. She made a surprise appearance at the school to share the news before stopping by a fifth-grade classroom to hand-deliver pencil cases filled with crayons, markers, pencils, glue sticks, and more. She even stuck around to chat and color with some of the kids.
The Euphoria star was also awarded the Yoobi Changemaker Award for her efforts to support Oakland schools and communities. "Thank you @yoobi for helping me surprise every student at a very special school in my hometown of Oakland with school supplies to start the school year off right!" she captioned an Instagram snap.
