Even as fashion editors, there are plenty of styling "rules" we've thrown out the window. Bloggers, celebrities, and stylists have taught us that if there's a will, there's a way to rock something — even if icons like Anna Wintour disagree.
Appearing on The Today Show, Vogue's editor-in-chief spilled on some trend she disapproves of. "I don't really love nylon," she told anchor Savannah Guthrie, and later admitted she'd like to invent a new name for athleisure. But one response we (politely) disagree with? Anna's thoughts on whether culottes are a good idea. "If you're tall and thin like Karlie Kloss, yeah," she said. Say what?! Cropped pants flatter a ton of different body types — you just have to find the right fit and shoe.
But everyone's entitled to an opinion, and we definitely respect this one. Plus, to be fair, she was put on the spot! Watch her responses for yourself ahead, then hear her story about getting lost at Kanye's fashion show.
