Fashionistas, the time has finally come! Dubai Modest Fashion Week (DMFW) is back and this year, they've brought some very, very talented designers with them.
Taking place at miX By Alain Ducasse in Emerald Palace Kempinski, Palm Jumeirah from March 7 to March 9. The second edition of DMFW will see more than 40 designers, from over 26 countries showcase their work – both on the runway and off. Added bonus? Should you wish to chat to the fashion experts, you can. As a number of exciting industry talks and workshops are scheduled to take place during the free to attend, three day event. There will be a number of pop-up shops for you to buy a few pieces, too.
Now, because we've missed the event (last year wasn't the same without DMFW), we've compiled a list of the 10 designers and brands, whose work we are super excited to see.

Moving from sunny California to an even sunnier Dubai, designer Safiya Abdallah launched her label Dulce by Safiya shortly after arriving in the UAE. Creating collections designed for women of all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities, #DulceGirl is made for the modern woman, who is comfortable in her skin and isn't afraid to go after what she wants. With a mixture of Latin and Arab heritage, Safiya draws inspiration from her childhood icons as well as cultural influences. Her vision for the brand is to limit the lines that women create to differentiate themselves and instead, encourage them to celebrate their similarities. Having dressed the likes of pop singing sensation Gwen Stefani, E! news presenter Catt Sadler, and actress Lindsay Lohan, it's safe to say that her vision is proving successful. Safiya currently stocks Dulce by Safiya at Dubai boutique, The Fashion Vault and has plans of expanding her reach to the US, as well as adding to her e-commerce website Dulcebysafiya.com. At DMFW, Dulce by Safiya will be collaborating with Blu Chocolate - the first artisan chocolatier in the Middle East. We're beyond excited to see what they have come up with.
