Brazilian native Gisele Bundchen came out of retirement to help kick off the Summer Olympics in Rio on Friday night. The supermodel made her triumphant return on what may just be the world's longest runway. In an interview with People ahead of the Opening Ceremony, Gisele confirmed as much: "This is for sure the longest runway I have ever walked in my life and by far with the most amount of people watching, so it is a little nerve-wracking."
Despite any pre-show jitters, Gisele looked every bit the pro she is, wearing a metallic gown by Brazilian designer, Alexandre Herchcovitch, while the song, "The Girl from Ipanema", played to the crowd. We know the games are just getting underway, but we're awarding Gisele the first unofficial gold medal for this flawless look. Read on to see it in full.
