We may be in the middle of summer but in typical Middle Eastern fashion we can't wait until the cooler weather hits the region, especially after spying this cool new stuff from a store we all love. The H&M STUDIO Autumn/Winter 2016 ladies and kids collection will launch exclusively at The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates on September 6 and eying it up will make you wish you were jetting away to colder climates soon.
Starring model Ashley Graham, the ladies selection is described as "an elevated collection of individual pieces rich in detail, from the precision of cut to the embroideries that appear throughout." Plus there's even a set of clothing for little ones to express their style. The first ever H&M Studio Kids collection "turns folkloric fairytales into fashion reality," just look at how cute the behind the scenes campaign shots are!
Ashley - who has previously been hired as a plus-size model in the fashion industry- looks great in items such as the camel trench coat and this corset-over-shirt look but it's notable that the brand isn't hiring the US size 8 to sell plus-size clothes in this instance. It's a refreshing time to see both slender and curvy girls in the latest offering from H&M. "There is a new femininity in this H&M Studio collection. It's about female strength and power, with a fresh look at folklore and romance. It's very elevated, and also very real," says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's creative advisor.
And with that we think we'll be first in line next month!
