Back in February, supermodel Bella Hadid was announced as the celebrity face of TAG Heuer. And it seems the 20-year-old star is in great company because Raha Moharrak, the first Saudi woman and the youngest Arab to conquer Mount Everest and the Seven Summits, has been snapped up too.
In a new video where she speaks about her success and challenges, the American University of Sharjah graduate admits that he father wasn't initially supportive of her decision to go in the opposite direction of using her Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications. While working for an advertising agency, she climbed Kilimajaro and got the bug for climbing.
"A story is only as powerful as the hearts and minds it reaches and being the first Arab female ambassador for TAG Heuer is a powerful way of breaking the stereotype and an absolute honor" Raha, who filmed the clip in Zermatt, Switzerland, says.
She reveals that despite being the first to do many things, it's her dream to see a generation of girls where there are no longer any firsts.
Watch the video to find out why climbing mountains is her passion.
