Taylor Swift's Met Gala Look Was Very Futuristic Ballerina

Taylor Swift has pretty much always arrived at the Met Gala in statement-making gowns: that's just how she rolls. Or, at least, used to roll, considering that in 2016, the star switched it up, rocking a ruffled silver dress and cutout boots to the fashion event. It was right on target with her recent style makeover, which the star debuted in the May issue of Vogue, but man — we're still getting used to Tay's new look!

That's not to say she didn't look stunning, though. The girl has proven she can pull off almost anything, and we think, as co-chair of the event, Taylor totally nailed the Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology theme.
