It looks like Meghan Markle has got the Kate Middleton effect when it comes to fashion too. Prince Harry's new fiancée was the reason this bag sold out just 11 minutes after she stepped out holding it on her first official engagement with the British royal. Meghan was spotted swinging this Strathberry midi-tote, a Scottish brand usually sold in Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale's. It comes in a variety of colors and cost $625.
The independent label takes 20 hours to make one bag so it's going to be a little while until they're back in stock but they've promised there will be a restock on Strathberry.com and you can sign up for email alerts so you know when it's available again.
"We are delighted at the news of Meghan and Prince Harry's engagement and wish them all the best for this exciting period," a spokesperson said about her outing in Nottingham, England. "It was a fantastic surprise to see that Meghan selected one of our core Strathberry styles to carry on her first royal engagement."
We can't wait to see what else Meghan pulls out of the um… bag.
