June is a great month for women in Saudi Arabia; it's the first time females have even been able to get behind the wheel and drive in the country, and with the FIFA World Cup beginning, there's more good news.
Six young women between the ages of 13 and 17 will represent KSA at their opening game against Russia. The girls, including hijab emoji creator Rayouf Al Humedhi and diver Miriam Shalan, are flagbearers leading the national team out to the pitch as an estimated 300 million around the globe watch.
It comes as sponsors Coca Cola aim to promote "inclusion, diversity and support" especially considering the Kingdom is undergoing major changes right now. The other four women are equally as inspiring too.
