5 Simple Intermittent Fasting Rules I Followed to Lose Weight and Feel Better Than Ever
When I started doing intermittent fasting last year, I honestly didn't have high hopes. I had a feeling it would help with bloating and digestion, but I didn't expect to lose much weight. I chose to do the 16:8 intermittent fasting (IF) plan, which means I fasted for 16 hours a day and ate my meals in an eight-hour window. Personally, eating between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. works best for me and my workout schedule, but you can choose whatever time period you'd like to eat in.
After a few months of doing IF, I lost 10 pounds and dropped a dress size. I still follow my IF routine today and love how it makes me feel. These are the five IF rules I followed to help me lose weight, have more energy, and live with less bloating than ever.
