Share the Brutally Honest Version of How You’re Feeling
In the first few months of my move from Canada to Dubai, I felt guilty for being depressed. Here I was living in a beautiful place with a man I loved, hating it and believing I was lost. I kept telling my family I was okay because I didn't want to worry them. The second I told them the truth, I felt better.
Are you sugar coating how you feel? Practice telling the full truth now, and letting it be heard by someone else. It's also possible you're totally loving your life and are afraid to share that because you know other people are upset right now!
