We're you one of the lucky guys who got to sample some of that fast-food goodness in Dubai this week?
In-N-Out a burger and fries chain only available on the West Coast of the United States was available for a limited time only at Ibn Battuta Mall's India Court but the restaurant was um… in and out of the shopping center within a day so Instagram followers were understandable annoyed.
A post on their page revealed that the brand appeared from 10.30 p.m. until 2.30 p.m on Tuesday, feeling the Double Double burger from California.
Some of the comments on the post included, "why such short notice 😭😭😭😭 bring them back .....😭😭😭😭" and "At least for a whole day, why for 4 hours only? You know that you just discriminated the tasting policy !"
@ommie10 added: "Why nobody told me about this and why is it from 10am till 2pm I mean this is not right I swear 😭😤😡"
We feel ya…
We're not sure whether they're permanently planning on residing in the UAE but it looks like there's certainly a demand for freshly cut fries made right in front of you and burgers that haven't been sitting round all day.
The brand prides themselves on selling fresh food from local sources, they're not even allow to freeze produce. They only have a few things on their menu displayed but there's more on their secret menu which includes "animal style fries" and Flying Dutchman's burgers (without the buns).
If they do settle down in the Middle East, prices might look like this: Double-Double AED12 (meal AED20), Cheeseburger AED10 (meal AED18), Hamburger AED8 (meal AED16), Potato Chips AED4, Medium Drink AED4, T-Shirt AED10.
For now we'll just have to settle for Five Guys.
