Cereal Killer Cafe to Open in Dubai

An Entire Cafe Dedicated to Serving Cereal is Opening in Dubai

Have you ever been out and about in Dubai when the sudden urge for a bowl of cereal takes over? Perhaps not but just in case you are that girl who just can't wait until the morning for her next bowl of cornflakes, all your dreams are about to come true.

An entire cafe dedicated to Froot Loops, Cap'n Crunch and Lucky Charms is coming to the region according to reports, and it's not as boring as you may think.

Cereal Killers first opened in London with 120 types from America to South Korea, plus 30 types of milk and 20 toppings such as Oreos and nuts to make the experience even more cereal-tastic.

It opened two branches within the first five months of it's opening date in late 2014 and the UAE cafe is expected in May. There's also chatter that Lebanon and Jordan will be getting a spoonful of the action soon.

Owners Alan and Gary Keery even have a recipe book containing super cereal combinations so rest assured they know how to satisfy tastebuds from breakfast time until dessert.

In fact, it's already popular with Arab royals.

"We've had huge interest from across the Middle East about setting up branches out there," Alan told the Independent newspaper. "We get a lot of people coming in from the Middle East. One of the sheikhs of Dubai came into the café. They don't have a big drinking culture. We hang out in bars, they hang out in cafés. They're loving it because it's like a dessert."

At AED13-23 for a bowl, will you be trading in your post-dinner slice of cake for some cereal instead?
