Kicking off February 25th, the Dubai Food Festival hails itself as "the only truly citywide food festival in the Middle East." From restaurant promotions to food truck gatherings to family-friendly food-centric activities, the Dubai Food Festival has something for every type of person-- and every type of eater. The festival runs for almost three weeks, and with a variety of events, you'll want to make sure you don't miss a thing. Here's everything you need to know to make the most out of the 2016 Dubai Food Festival.

Where

The Dubai Food Festival (or DFF) is held at a number of locations throughout the city. Some of the bigger events will be at Dubai Media City Ampitheatre; Burj Park; and Souk Al Bahar.

Major Events

  • Eat The World DXB
  • Held in Burj Park in the shadow of the Burk Khalifa, Eat the World returns to Dubai this after a successful stint in 2015. Eat the World will feature 15 food trucks showcasing the diversity of Dubai's culinary scene, as well as live music, activities for the kids, and even a traditional English tea serving. (February 25-27, Burj Park, Downtown Dubai)

  • Taste of Dubai
  • Capping off the Dubai Food Festival is Taste of Dubai. Held from 10-12 March in Dubai Media City, Taste of Dubai brings together world class chefs, live music, and unique culinary and food-related items for sale.

  • Restaurant Week
  • Restaurant Week runs longer than just a week-- from February 25- March 5-- and we're so happy that the festival has extended it for longer than 7 days. 30 of the city's most popular restaurants will be participating this year, so whether you've been dying to try Yuan at Atlantis, Thiptara at The Palace, Sea Fu at the Four Seasons, or a number of other restaurants, now's the time to indulge.
