Combat Physical Strain During Ramadan With Anti-Inflammatory Roasted Garlic and Beetroot Hummus

Beetroot and garlic are key ingredients as they are both strong anti-inflammatories. "This is important especially during the Ramadan period as these ingredients are ideal to combat the physical strain that fasting can have on the body," says Chef Christopher Kinsley, Head Chef at Flow Jumeirah Emirates Towers. "Nutrition is our first and foremost form of medicine so it's important to guard against illness with ingredients such as these at a time when we consume so little."
