Whether you live in the UAE's capital city or elsewhere in the Middle East, one dessert being served at an Abu Dhabi restaurant makes it worth going to. BU! Trinity - a new place that opened earlier this year - is serving up a piñata-style dessert, so diners can unleash some frustration before they tuck in.
Located in the Hub at The Mall World Trade Center, guest will have to fork out a wallet-pinching AED225 to experience the chocolatey delight but it does feed 4-7 guests so in our opinion it's totally worth it.
Instead of a usual colorful paper mâché figure being broken up to reveal hoards of candy, sweet treat enthusiasts get to indulge in fluffy homemade coconut marshmallows, gooey peanut butter brownies, crunchy meringue, fresh berries, tropical fruit and churros. It's served with Mexican chocolate sauce infused with cinnamon and star anise, classic dulce de leche sauce, whipping cream, as well as sweet pineapple and berry options. A platter of vanilla, coffee and banana and caramel flavor ice creams accompany it. Feeling full yet?
"This is easily our hero dessert. It's interactive, fun, full of surprises and perfect for sharing. Where better to create a twist on the traditional Piñata, than here at BU!?" Pastry Chef, Julio Cesar Gonzalez says. "We are all about pushing the boundaries with different techniques and taste combinations and this dish definitely does that."
On on that note, we'll be making a reservation, pronto!
