This genius DIY guru transformed their bedroom into a Harry Potter movie set almost too magical for words. Using decor pieces inspired straight from the wizard book series, one Imgur user shared their meticulous process of conjuring up the spellbinding bedroom upgrade. The DIY wizard used solid gray and black paint and a picture frame from Walmart to trace out grout lines for a realistic stone wall pattern. To get an even edgier look, the designer mixed the black and gray paint together to apply dark stains on the stone walls.

To get the mesmerizing cloudy moon effect on the ceilings, the designer applied a base coating of black paint and then acrylic paint using a sponge to create the whimsical night sky.
