This Middle Eastern Beach Club Will Make You Feel Like You're on Vacation in Ibiza This Summer
One of the best and worst things about life in the region is the weather, but one Dubai beach club is making sure all the fun and games doesn't grind to screeching halt this summer due to the almost unbearable temperatures. El Chiringuito, one of the newer brands of Balearics-based beach clubs to make it to the UAE, recently opened on the famous Palm Jumeirah Island, and it's so pretty it will mentally whisk you away on a Spanish vacay.
After launching earlier this year, El Chiringuito has been the place to be for the most Instagrammable snaps, thanks to its white furnishings, palm tree-lined pool and beach area, plus floral decorations with dreamcatchers littered in between.
On Friday nights it attracts the cool crowd with its Nomad party and Saturday daytime sees a chilled out La Familia brunch where where kids and adults are taken care of with delicious food served up to the table and pool and beach access thrown into the package. Think black squid rice and prawns and fennel and parmesan salad with all-inclusive drinks prices ranging from AED395-695 depending on whether you're going for soft drinks, wine and sangria or the bubbles and cocktails options.
Unlike many places in the Emirate, they won't be shutting down for four months until temperatures cool down for Fall, instead they're building glass panels around that will keep the venue completely air conditioned. It means residents and visitors alike can continuing with sunbathing and have a place to seek refuge when rays are at their strongest.
Although it will be closed for the Holy Month of Ramadan (expected to start May 27), the Rixos the Palm beach club will rename its calmer Friday event "Wild Hearts" from Eid until September 1st. Whether you're there during the day, night, or in it for the long-haul, if you can't make it to Ibiza this year, it's the next best thing.
