How to Get Free Taxi Rides During Ramadan in the UAE

Ramadan is a time to give back, and one company is a going the extra mile to prove that, literally.

Uber has teamed up with Emirates NBD to give riders in the UAE the chance to score some free journeys during the Holy Month.

When road traffic gets rough during iftar time, the company is hoping to help ease frustrations by allowing people up to AED40 off a trip.

The offer is running on weekends (Thursday to Saturday evenings 6.p.m - 9.p.m.) until Eid.

To take advantage, people in the United Arab Emirates need to register their Emirates NBD debit or credit card to the app.

Those who are already Uber riders can get as many as eight journeys with the offer while new riders will get an extra two thrown in.

All you have to do is enter the promo code "ENBDUBER" before moving the slider to ENBD and requesting away.

Saving your dirhams this Ramadan couldn't be easier.
