Dubbed a "7-star hotel", it doesn't seem that much could get better than the Burj Al Arab. But this new Dubai development is about to give the sail-shaped building a run for its money. Marsa Al Arab is a twin luxury destination coming to the Emirate, which will surround the Burj on both sides.
The first island is a family destination expanding on the Wild Wadi waterpark and adding the likes of a marine park, theater, a permanent home for Cirque du Soleil, pearl museum and yacht club. There will also be a high-end shopping mall, residential tower and business buildings.
The second island will be a little more exclusive and cater to luxury travelers and residents. It will have a private marina, boutique hotel and plenty more. Dubai's Sheikh Mohammed and Sheikh Hamdan were pictured at the launch on Sunday. See below for the royals in action and above to watch the video for more information.
