The United Arab Emirates is already home to The Dubai Mall, the largest shopping center in the world. But this new retail and dining destination is giving us a tingle up our spine nevertheless. Nad Al Sheba Mall is part of Dubai property developer, Nakheel's, AED16billion project, which will have 200 shops, restaurants and entertainment outlets (including a supermarket, department stores, multi-screen cinema, medical clinic and fitness center) spread across 1.4million sq ft.
Construction is expected to begin just off Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road at the end of this year and it will be completed by 2020. The Nad Al Sheba area is home to 11,500 high end villas so existing residents – as well as the new ones moving into the 1,500 under-construction four-and-five-bedroom villas – will have a plus new place to shop.
Nakheel brought us the popular Ibn Battuta Mall, Golden Mile Galleria and Dragon Mart, so we can't wait to see what they come up with next!
