The UAE is seriously looking ahead – way ahead. The country's strive and commitment to lessen their reliance on oil and transform the way its government entities do business just moved another step forward with the launch of a new campus for Amity University in Dubai.

The new campus, located in Academic City, was inaugurated on Tuesday by Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. "It was a privilege to inaugurate Amity University's new campus, which is a testament to their commitment to offering world-class education," she captioned her photographs on Instagram.

The new campus will offer research-led courses to students studying aerospace engineering, nuclear science and forensic science – three subjects which are not available in many university syllabus globally as they require extremely expensive and high-tech laboratories, as reported by Khaleej Times [3].

Amity University is part of a worldwide network of universities under the Amity Education Group. The schooling is focused on trailblazing innovations in science and technology.

In Dubai, the university campus includes facilities such as hi-tech laboratories and design studios, as well as a host of sports and recreational amenities, including an Olympian-size running track.

As a result of the access to these state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, UAE students have the resources necessary to discover and create scientific advances in a large spectrum of fields – and in turn, the UAE will gain a host of pioneers in their workforce.

Sounds like a win-win to us.
