With Ramadan coming at the end of May, this is the last opportunity to get out and about before Dubai closes many of its venue for the Holy Month. Here's the best of what's happening in the Emirate.
1. See your favorite nanny soar on stage
The award-winning and Supercalifragilistic musical, Mary Poppins, opens after stint in Zurich. The cast of 45, orchestra of 13 people and 49-person-strong technical team tell the story of the child minder who arrives on Cherry Tree Lane with her famous bottomless carpet bag and umbrella which enables her fly.

2. Party at Dubai's newest nightclub
After an opening weekend with 50 Cent and Axwell, Rick Ross will be showcasing his roster of hits at new nightclub, Base. The "Hustlin" hitmaker – with multi-platinum selling records to his name – is becoming quite the regular in the Emirate.

3. Celebrate Star Wars Day with the kids
Borders Dubai Festival City will welcome little ones to a special live book reading, where kids can enjoy excerpts of the famous books read in English from 4.30pm-6pm. Each child will be gifted a free book and other Star Wars goodies. Come dressed as your favorite character!

4. See a pop idol in concert
Justin Bieber performs for the second time in the Emirate, at the same venue Nicky Minaj and Bebe Rexha have played before him, 117 Live's Autism Rocks Arena. Expect the star to belt out hits including "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean?".

5. Feed your cultural side
To promote the Italian Visual Art and young Italian artists in Dubai, with special focus on their approach to Contemporary Art, a new exhibition covers a variety of visual art mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, and installation art.

6. Laugh your face off
Lilly Singh's international book tour for "How to be a Bawse" takes the Youtube star to the Emirate where she'll be performing a live show. Her words remind us that while the secret of success is hard work, we shouldn't beat ourselves up in the process. 7. Join a running club
Beginners and advanced runners improve their stamina, technique and general fitness with the help of running professionals at The Beach Running Club in JBR. will be hosting free weekly running sessions are hosted for beginners (Sundays) for 3-5km, and seasoned runners (Mondays) for 8-10 km. Sessions take place 6am-7.30am.

8. Zen out at Full Moon Yoga
Experience an evening under the stars with an hour of full moon yoga and 30 minutes of meditation on the resort's white sand beach. Starting at 8pm, you'll have stunning views of the twinkling Dubai Marina Skyline. It costs AED75 per person. Towels and yoga matts are available.

11. Welcome Hollywood's hippest restaurant to the city
Japanese restaurant, Katsuya by Starck opens, well known for its tasty sushi, cool cocktails and celebrity clientele. Chef Katsuya Uechi will be visiting Dubai to open the branch himself, this month.

12. Enjoy afternoon tea on a yacht

13. Experience a dining extravaganza
