Any one's who's flown Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic might already know how fabulous their Clubhouse at London's Heathrow airport is. But the airline just went one better with their new addition for the winter period.
While it might be too cold to ordinarily enjoy their rooftop at this time of year, they've come up with a festive way to enjoy their great food menu while seeing planes take off close-up. A Nordic-style igloo has popped up from Coppa Club in the UK's capital, a trend that allows people to experience the outdoors while cozied up in a see-through bubble.
"Once again we have shown what sets Virgin Atlantic apart. This winter we're bringing the UK's most in demand pop up direct to our customers by introducing an igloo on the roof of our Heathrow Clubhouse," Daniel Kerzner, Vice President Customer Experience for Virgin Atlantic, said. "We've created one of the world's most thrilling airport experiences where customers can eat, drink and relax under the stars with unrivaled views of the runway. Our customers love flying Virgin Atlantic as we are constantly innovating to create unique experiences that set us apart.
"This is another example of doing the unexpected and wow'ing our customers with something they won't get anywhere else. This is the first of many experiences we will be launching on the ground and in the air throughout 2018."
