The IMG Worlds of Adventure theme park has finally opened today and we couldn't be more excited (it was delayed from the planned launch on the 15th). The Park is the world's largest indoor theme park, making it the perfect spot to have fun in the last few months of summer.
Judging by the launch video IMG posted to their Instagram account, it looks like a blast.
The park is located a bit off the beaten path in a seemingly nondescript building out in the "City of Arabia" by Global Village.
The park is home to four different "worlds": Marvel, Lost Valley, Cartoon Network, and IMG Boulevard. The Marvel zone features many of your favorite characters from the movie franchise including a whole ride devoted to Thor. Lost Valley is a "Jurassic Park"-like zone devoted to dinosaurs. Finally, the IMG Boulevard is home to the super-spooky "Haunted Hotel" and shops.
The park features 22 different rides, 25 retail stores, and 28 food and beverage outlets. It cost about $1 billion to complete.
IMG expects 4.5 million people to come through its doors in the first full year of operation (2017), and tickets will cost AED 300 for adults and AED 250 for kids. Kids under 3 get in for free.
So what are you waiting for?
