Al Ain Zoo Safari Park Opens

Guess Which Emirate Just Became Home to the World's Biggest Man-Made Safari Park

Don't ever say you've run out of things to do in the UAE, because on Wednesday the country is opening the biggest man-made safari park in the world.

Set over 217 hectares, the place will be home for 200 animals - including lion, oryx, eland, springbok, giraffe and zebra - when it launches but there are plans to have 500 by 2017 when large birds will be introduced.

Later on there will be the opportunity to see species like crocodiles and hippos underwater at Al Ain Zoo.

Prices to tour the zoo in a vehicle with an Emirati guide range from AED200-1,000 and last about 45 minutes.
