A 27-year-old artist from Belarus has never visited the UAE, but you'd never know it from looking at her work.
Yulia Kravets, who mostly sketches with pencils, has created over 400 works of art featuring the UAE's rulers, landscapes, and monuments. Her interest in the country began in 2014, when she was assigned to draw the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. "I sketched the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque for one of my first assignments as an architecture student," she told Gulf News.
She began doing research about the UAE, and found the country inspiring more and more of her work.
She calls the UAE "one of the finest countries in the world.
"The rapid growth and development of the UAE has been remarkable. I have never come across anyone from here who has anything negative to say about the country," she said.
Though she's yet to visit the UAE-- her art certainly is a tribute to this beautiful country!
