A 17-year-old Emirati racer is all set to be named the first Arab woman to compete in Formula 4 racing next season.
A graduate of Abu Dhabi Racing's Daman Speed Academy, Amna Al Qubaisi will leave karting behind to move on to the Formula 4 championship with the Prema team. The next season will be held in Europe.
She also recently won honors at the GCC Young Drivers Academy and was the first woman and Emirati to win the Senior class Rotax Max Challenge. Kaspersky Motorsport is sponsoring her racing car and she has already taken to Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina racetrack to try out her single-seater.
We wish Amna all the luck and hope she emerges victorious. You go, girl!
