You Can See Why This Taj Mahal Replica in Dubai Took 2,019 Hours To Create
Back in April we got to see what the Burj Khalifa and other monuments might look like when Legoland Dubai opens, and now in honor of India's Independence Day, comes the Taj Mahal's arrival. Part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, Miniland will showcase a replica of one of the seven wonders of the world, which is made from 280,741 bricks and weighs more than 280,000kg.
While the real-life building took about 20 years to build, this version was built in 2,019 hours using white Lego bricks with accents of gold, black and red. Hundreds of models will feature at the indoor, air-conditioned section of the park designed for families with children aged 2-12.
In the six themed areas there will be 15,000 Lego model structures made from 60 million bricks, plus there are more than 40 rides, shows, attractions and building experiences to take advantage of.
