Though she's Swiss born and raised, artist Seraina Noetzli has a love affair with Beirut, and she's created a new series of sketches to show it.
After visiting Beirut several times, Seraina decided to begin drawing the city that had captured her heart. Speaking to Stepfeed, she explained the inspiration behind her series, "Beirut Contrasts."
"I had been in Beirut several times and was always fascinated by this huge diversity, by the contrasts between tradition and modernity, romance and toughness, past and future," she said. "All expressed through people and their stories but also personally by noticing details and contradictions walking through the streets and alleys everyday," she added.
