Last month, Sheikha Mozah Al Maktoum became the first female member of Dubai's royal family to become a commercial airline pilot, and she proudly showed off her wings and certificate upon earning the designation.
Her family shared her pride, and her aunt even tweeted a congratulatory post to celebrate the admirable accomplishment.
My niece @mozahmm our first female pilot from the family on her first assisted flight as a commercial pilot. Proud of you ! The sky is not the limit. As long as you can dream it you can achieve it. موزة مروان. بنت إختي. أول طيار أنثى فالعائلة. اليوم أول يوم تطير كمساعد طيار على طيران الإمارات. نفتخر بك يا موزة. اللهم وفقك في كل الخير الذي تتمنينه.
Now, Sheikha Mozah has reached another milestone, as she's co-piloted her first ever flight. She confirmed the news with an Instagram post that showed her inside the cockpit of an Emirates plane. She captioned the photo with the flight number, EK903.
Though she only posted the photo a few days ago, she actually piloted the flight two weeks ago. Like any proud mom, Sheikh Maitha posted a photo of her daughter at the time of her maiden voyage, lauding the young pilot for making her dream come true.
Way to go to Sheikha Mozah on this groundbreaking accomplishment! Here's to hoping this princess is piloting your next Emirates flight.
