Every bride fears the worst happening on their big day, especially any wedding dress malfunctions. For Jo, her zipper broke as her bridesmaids were helping her get dressed. Her wedding photographer Lindsay Coulter captured all the moments before the ceremony, including the wardrobe issue, which ended up having an unexpectedly sweet ending.

Lindsay detailed the whole thing on her Facebook, which got 25,000 reactions and over 9,000 shares. She explained how one of the bridesmaids went over to the house next door to see if the neighbors had pliers. "She came back with a handful of tools and some interesting information: the next door neighbour was hosting a family of Syrian refugees and the father was a master tailor and would be happy to help if we weren't successful," Lindsay wrote.

A few minutes later, they heard a knock on the door and in came David the neighbor as well as the tailor with a sewing kit and his son. While the father finished up his repairs, David explained how he was hosting the family, who had moved to Canada just a few days before and didn't speak any English.

"Every weekend I take photos of people on the happiest days of their lives, and today one man who has seen some of the worst things our world has to offer came to the rescue," Lindsay wrote.

We love this sweet story, and the fact that Lindsay was able to capture it all only made it better.
