Things to Do in Dubai This August

Everything to Love About August in Dubai

August in Dubai doesn't have to mean Netflix every weekend or completely fleeing the Emirate altogether - there's still enough to keep you entertained until the temperature starts to cool down. Whether you've been meaning to work out more or explore the best of food and beverage, we've got some suggestions for how to get the best out of the month.

Celebrate Yorkshire Day

August 1 marks Yorkshire Day at Reform Social & Grill and the British gastropub will be serving up savory and sweet Yorkshire Pudding Platters for AED50 each from here on out. Think medleys of 'roast beef, horseradish and watercress', 'hot smoked salmon, cream cheese and chives', and 'Tipperary brie and truffle honey' to start. Then finish off with 'chocolate and caramel yorkie', followed by a 'sugared (doughnut style) yorkie filled with clotted cream and jam', and a delicious 'banana and custard' Yorkshire pudding.

Ongoing, Reform Social & Grill.

Improve your mixology skills

Open to all and 100% complimentary, the TIKI Tuesday masterclass will give all walking through the doors of Claw a taste of island life and some Sailor Jerry bartender gifts to take home. Post masterclass, rum and TIKI expert Paul Monahan will be guest bartender for the evening where all ladies will receive complimentary TIKI cocktails.

August 2, Claw BBQ.

On the sixth visit, members are gifted a specially engraved steak knife with the J&G Steakhouse logo and personalized with their name. Membership of the Tomahawk Club culminates after the tenth visit with a branded butcher's block delivered to the guest's home.
